We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build and operate modern cloud platforms across AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure environments. You’ll work on complex environments where the platform is critical to how engineering teams build, deploy and run software, with the autonomy to influence architecture, tooling and engineering standards.
This is a genuinely hands-on role. You’ll be comfortable working across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation and reliability, while also thinking at platform level about how systems should be designed, operated and improved. You’ll work closely with engineers and stakeholders to solve difficult problems and deliver platforms that are secure, scalable and built to last.
The role:
- Design and build secure, scalable AWS cloud platforms, with multi-cloud experience a plus
- Build and operate production Kubernetes platforms across EKS and AKS
- Develop internal developer platforms, self-service tooling and reusable golden paths
- Modernise legacy infrastructure into cloud-native architectures
- Build robust CI/CD pipelines
- Improve observability and reliability using tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus and Grafana
- Define SLOs, improve incident response and drive post-incident learning
- Automate infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code and event-driven approaches
Shape engineering standards around security, reliability, operability and delivery
