General Manager — Foundry Gym, Sheffield
£32,000 starting salary + performance-related bonus | Full time
Foundry Gym is looking for a General Manager to take the reins of our Sheffield club and run it like it's their own business.
We opened Sheffield's best 24/7 gym last year — kitted out with Hammer Strength, Atlantis, Watson, Prime and Hoist, and built for everyone from first-timers to serious athletes. The club is trading, the members are in, and the foundations are strong. What it needs now is a leader to take it to the next level.

The role
As General Manager you own the performance of the Sheffield club end to end:
- Grow membership, drive retention and hit commercial targets
- Deliver a member experience people talk about — and come back for
- Keep operational, cleanliness and equipment standards immaculate
- Recruit, lead and develop a high-performing team
- Build real relationships across the local community, from schools and clubs to local businesses
- Set the culture: positive, energetic, no egos
About you
You're a hands-on leader who's happier on the gym floor than behind a desk. You're commercially sharp, you get a kick out of hitting numbers, and you genuinely care about the people on both sides of the counter — members and staff.
We'd like you to bring:
- Experience managing a gym, leisure or other customer-facing business
- A track record of hitting sales, membership or commercial targets
- Confidence leading, coaching and holding a team to a standard
- The kind of energy that lifts a room
