The Role
You will manage a full residential conveyancing caseload, taking matters from initial instruction through to completion while ensuring clients receive a high standard of service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions
- Handling matters from instruction through to exchange and completion
- Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process
- Preparing, reviewing and negotiating contracts
- Dealing with property documentation and legal enquiries
- Managing transaction deadlines and ensuring matters progress efficiently
- Keeping clients fully informed at every stage
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties
- Identifying and resolving issues that arise during transactions
- Maintaining accurate and compliant case files
- Ensuring matters are managed in accordance with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Residential Property department
- Managing your own workload while prioritising urgent and time-sensitive matters
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a confident, personable and technically capable Residential Conveyancer or Conveyancing Lawyer.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload
- Candidates can be qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
- Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process
- Experience managing transactions independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise effectively
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong client care and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
