Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with tippers , and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of goods while ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations.
Duties
- Operate tipper lorries to transport goods to various locations safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Plan routes and manage schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a tipper driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with tipper lorries and their operation is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A commitment to safety practices and protocols while driving.
