Harts of Stur is a fourth-generation family business and have been established since 1919. We have extensive premises built on the original site where our founder, the late Walter Hart, was Sturminster Newton's local Blacksmith.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Seasonal support for our Warehouse team during our main busy period on a fixed term contract. The successful applicant must be reliable, punctual and motivated. Past experience in a warehouse environment would be an advantage but not essential. The applicant must be able to work at speed and under pressure.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The main responsibilities of our seasonal support will include:
- Your main responsibility will be to pack mail orders
- When needed you may be required to pick orders
- You will be working within the existing team, and at times you will be individually working on tasks
- Other duties at the direction of the Warehouse manager or Company Directors
CURRENT HOURS OF WORK:
Our Normal Opening hours are Week days 8am -5.30pm, Saturday 8am -4.30pm and Sundays 10am-4pm.
We currently have a couple rotas available for these seasonal positions, so during application please state which you are interested in. There may be the opportunity for overtime.
Available rotas:
Rota 1 - Friday - Tuesday (5 days working)
Rota 2 - Monday - Friday (5 days working)
REMUNERATION:
£12.60 p.h - £13.45 p.h (Dependant on Age Bracket)
DURATION, NOTICE AND CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a fixed term contract, running from September 2026, until end of January 2027.
