Overview
We are seeking dedicated Road Stud Operatives to join our highway maintenance team. This role involves the removal and installation of road studs along major roadways throughout the UK. Previous experience in highway maintenance is advantageous. You will be expected to work days, nights, weekends and work away when required.
We offer good rates of pay, which are variable due to piece work rates. There is also the opportunity for promotion to a ganger, which is paid at higher rates.
Duties
- Install, repair, and replace road studs along highways and major roads in accordance with safety standards and specifications
- Operate specialised vehicles and equipment required for installation and maintenance tasks
Requirements
Essential
- Current CSCS card (proof required)
- Valid driving licence (proof required)
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and operate relevant tools safely
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism at all times
- Be willing to drive highways maintenance lorries
Desirable
- Proven experience in highway maintenance
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to highway work sites
Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
