Administrator / Caretaker (Part-Time)
We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Administrator/Caretaker to support the day-to-day running of our busy Community Centre. This varied role combines office administration, customer service, building maintenance and caretaking responsibilities to ensure the Centre remains safe, clean and welcoming for all users.
Key Responsibilities-
Open the Centre your working weekdays (Tuesdays and Fridays) by 9:00am and ensure the premises are ready for use.
- Manage room bookings, respond to enquiries, prepare invoices and maintain accurate administrative and financial records.
- Provide general administrative support to the Centre Manager.- Carry out routine health and safety checks, report maintenance issues and liaise with contractors where required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the building, including offices, communal areas and outdoor spaces.
- Set up rooms for meetings, events and community activities.- Undertake minor maintenance tasks and ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are well organised.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and help maintain a safe environment for staff, visitors and community groups. Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in administration, facilities, caretaking or a similar role is desirable (full training will be provided).
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook). Knowledge of Sage is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Strong organisational, communication and customer service skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable, or applicants should live within easy travelling distance of Aylesbury Town Centre.

Working Pattern Part-time with fixed weekday hours (Tuesday & Fridays 9am -3pm) . Weekend working (Saturdays and Sundays) flexible hours, to be discussed during interview.
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
