Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across commercial and residential properties. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and heating systems using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing fixtures and piping to identify issues or potential failures.
- Perform heavy lifting of pipes, fixtures, and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repairs.
- Use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations to ensure precise work.
- Assemble plumbing components and systems efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Operate commercial vehicles for transporting tools, materials, or equipment to job sites as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed for accountability and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance in commercial and residential settings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems including piping materials, valves, fixtures, and drainage solutions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in various work environments.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is a plus.
- Familiarity with assembly processes related to plumbing components and systems.
Nice-to-have skills include: ACS Gas qualifications, Good Problem Solving and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving work environment.
