We are currently recruiting for a Site and Facilities Manager to establish, maintain and monitor the provision of a safe, attractive and secure environment for the users of Hanwell Fields Community School. As our site and facilities manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the School’s site is a clean, efficient, safe, and secure place to study and work, providing an optimum environment for our students and staff.
You will bring passion and a strategic mindset to our site and facility functions ensuring that they align with the current and future needs of the School.

Our Needs:

A reliable, proactive leader who ensures the school site operates efficiently every day.
- Rigorous management of health & safety compliance, statutory checks, and risk assessments.
- Strong oversight of safeguarding procedures relating to site access, contractors, and visitors.
- Clean, hygienic classrooms, hallways, and facilities that reflect the school’s values.
- High‑quality maintenance of buildings, grounds, play areas, and early years outdoor spaces.
- A strategic approach to planning, budgeting, and delivering premises improvements and capital projects.
- Effective supervision and direction of the caretaking and cleaning teams.
- Professional management of contractors and service providers to ensure high standards.
- Reliable key‑holding, security, and callout cover, including out‑of‑hours responsibilities when needed.
- Clear communication with staff, leadership, and external stakeholders.
- A child‑centred approach that helps maintain a welcoming and caring school environment.
- A forward‑thinking mindset to develop the site in line with future school needs.
