Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Follow personalized care plans to meet each individual’s specific needs and preferences
- Support clients in engaging with social activities and maintaining their routines
- Maintain clear communication with team members, clients, and their families to ensure consistent care delivery
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update client records regularly
- Drive between different locations for home care visits when required, ensuring timely support
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines and reporting any concerns promptly
Skills
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable
- Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed care plans effectively
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and communication purposes
- Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with clients, families, and team members
- Fluency in English to ensure clear understanding of instructions and client needs
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with diverse individuals
- Able to follow instruction as directed by Manager, Registered Nurse or Senior Care Assistant.
