Position: Mobile Facilities Maintenance Technician
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours /week 08:30-17:30 MON-FRI
Location: Mobile across Hampshire, Sussex & Surrey

We're looking for a practical, hands-on Mobile Facilities Maintenance Technician to work within the Facilities Maintenance team to help keep our dealership network safe, compliant and operating to a high standard.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll carry out mainly reactive maintenance across our sites, working independently and occasionally alongside contractors. We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in commercial maintenance, building services, mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, heating, ventilation, and plant equipment . You'll also be happy to get involved with general maintenance tasks whenever needed.
As our Mobile Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll be:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites in: Portsmouth, Fareham, Southampton, Botley, Lymington, Bognor Regis and Guildford.
- Completing general repairs including minor electrical or mechanical work and basic plumbing, carpentry, and decorating.
- Helping with general site duties, including porterage, painting & decorating, and occasional unblocking of toilets or drains.
- Assisting with heating, ventilation and commercial building services.
- Working safely and maintaining high Health & Safety standards.
- Liaising with contractors and responding to maintenance issues.
- Supporting the upkeep of plant and site equipment.
Ideally, you are:
- A proven Facilities Maintenance Technician with experience working in a similar Facilities Maintenance, Maintenance Engineer, Building Services or Commercial Maintenance Operative role, ideally within a commercial M&E environment.
- Experienced in carrying out mechanical and electrical (M&E) maintenance, with knowledge of heating, ventilation or commercial plant equipment.
- IPAF qualified (or willing to work towards it) and comfortable working at height.
- Able to work independently and manage your workload.
- A reliable team player with a positive, can-do attitude and an eagle eye for detail.
- In possession of your own hand tools.
