Worsley Plant ltd are a nationwide supplier of excavator attachments. We are currently looking for workshop based Welder / Fabricators / Fitter for a busy workshop.
We specialise in the supply, installation and maintenance of excavator attachments and are looking to add to our successful team of Workshop Engineers to keep up with increased market-demand and expansion.

The Role
Working within our workshop, you will be responsible for repairing and fabricating heavy plant machinery and components to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welding heavy plant machinery including hardfacing and preventative maintenance on Demolition, screening and crushing attachments
- Fabricating new components from engineering drawings.
- Carrying out structural repairs using MIG welding.
- Gouging, cutting, grinding and preparing materials.
- Diagnosing wear and structural damage before repairs.
- Working with high-strength and wear-resistant steels.
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience in heavy fabrication or heavy plant welding.
- Excellent MIG welding skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience repairing buckets, booms, arms, chassis or heavy steel fabrications.
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently or within a team.
Desirable:
- MMA welding experience.
- Experience with line boring or machining.
- Previous work on construction, quarry or recycling equipment.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience.
