We are looking for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will supervise and support junior care staff while providing high-quality care to our residents. You will ensure that the care plans are followed and help create a positive and supportive environment.

You will be expected to lead a team and manage the shift effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of care assistants.
- Provide direct care and support to residents, including assistance with daily activities.
- Ensure care plans are implemented and updated as needed.
- Monitor and document resident's progress and changes in their condition.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Assist with training and mentoring new staff members.
- Administering medication and ordering of medication.
- Carry out risk assessments and update as needed.
The skills you'll need:
- You will need to be flexible, patient and caring
- Have strong communication skills, both verbally and written
- Good writing and computer skills
- Be able to build relationships with all around you
- You will need to have at least 2 years previous experience
- Hold a level 2 NVQ/Diploma in health and social care, and if you don't have already willing to work towards a level 3
