We are seeking an experienced Carpenter / Joiner to join our installation team, working on modular building projects and fire door installations throughout the UK.
The role involves regular working away from home, with accommodation and travel arrangements provided. We are looking for reliable individuals who can work to a high standard, represent the company professionally on site, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects nationwide. Contract will initially be for temporary for 3 months with the potential for a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Installation and finishing of modular buildings on client sites
- Installation and maintenance of fire doors and associated ironmongery
- First and second fix carpentry works
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Working safely and efficiently to project deadlines
- Ensuring all work meets quality and compliance standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter / Joiner
- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- Experience with fire door installations
- Experience with Modular Building Installations
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not essential.
- Willingness to work away from home throughout the week and some weekends as required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
- Self-Employed
Desirable Qualifications
- Fire Door Inspection or Installation certification
- IPAF
- PASMA
- SSSTS
- Experience working on modular or portable building projects

Schedule

Experience
- Carpentry/Joinery: 3 years (preferred)
- Fire Door Installation: 1 year (preferred)
