Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for delivering orders efficiently and safely to multiple locations throughout your shift. This role is a Monday - Friday operation. Hours are 42.5 hrs per week, staring at 7am, finishes at 4:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate one of our 3.5tn delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
- Load and unload orders, often involving heavy lifting, with attention to safety protocols
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required
- Communicate clearly with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting recipients professionally and addressing any questions or concerns
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role, with a strong focus on multi-drop deliveries
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred, you will initially be driving a 3.5tn truck, and the right candidate may be trained to drive our 7.5tn and 12tn trucks.
- Experience working in warehouses or handling heavy lifting equipment is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps efficiently in various environments
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries accurately and on time
