Job Overview
We're looking for community focussed team members to work on our contract as Sunderland's Community Safety Officers.
A key overview of the role includes:
- High visibility patrols in identified hot spot locations
- Reporting issues to relevant services e.g. fly tipping broken streetlights, potholes etc
- General engagement with businesses and residents
- Deal with low level ASB e.g. youth disorder, street drinkers, beggars etc
The officers will support partners in dealing with low level crime and disorder and work closely as part of a crime reduction plan. It is such a wide ranging role, no day is ever the same!
- Good communication and customer service is essential
- Must be able to organise workload, carry out patrols and positively engage with the public and businesses.
- Must be able to provide a full 5 year checkable work/education history

This particular role is casual so provide resilience for holiday cover, absence and uplifts in service.
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
