Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Self Employed Painter and Decorator to deliver high-quality painting and decorating services across various residential and commercial projects. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling gaps, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with skill and attention to detail.
- Assess project requirements and recommend suitable materials and techniques for each job.
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their vision, provide updates, and address any questions or concerns.
- Manage your own schedule, ensuring timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed throughout each project to protect yourself and others.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting, decorating, or related trades with a portfolio of completed projects.
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
- Valid driving license to travel between job sites efficiently.
- Knowledge of different painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and decorating materials.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
