Iqra Cricklewood is an education and specialist support centre dedicated to helping children and young people reach their full potential. As we continue to expand our specialist services, we are looking for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to play a key role in delivering high-quality therapy to children with a range of speech, language and communication needs.
About the Role
We are seeking a confident and experienced therapist who can work independently, manage their own caseload and deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people.
The role will primarily involve supporting children with:
* Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
* Speech and language delay
* Speech sound disorders
* Social communication difficulties
* Developmental language disorder
* Learning and developmental needs
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
* Develop personalised therapy plans.
* Deliver high-quality one-to-one therapy sessions.
* Deliver small-group interventions where appropriate.
* Monitor and review progress.
* Prepare professional assessment and progress reports.
* Provide advice and practical strategies for parents and carers.
* Maintain accurate clinical records.
* Work in accordance with professional, ethical and safeguarding standards.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
* A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
* A minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience, including significant experience working with children.
* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Excellent assessment, communication and report-writing skills.
* The ability to work independently and manage a clinical caseload.
* A compassionate, child-centred approach.
* An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
