**This position is Monday - Friday, preferred hours 07:00am - 19:00pm.**
Job Summary
You shall be at the heart of a lively atmosphere and challenging working environment. Driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle, you will transport vehicles from busy motorways and dual carriageways, side roads, main roads and more, to various locations around our area of operations (M25 Orbital +/- 25 Miles approximately). You will earn commission on each completed jobs*, which is uncapped. Earning potential can be as high as £45,000.00+ per annum. Paperwork is mostly electronic through a newly and specially designed internal system, making it easier than ever before to complete work. You shall also be responsible for keeping your vehicle clean and well maintained, reporting and deficiencies to workshop and our fleet management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a 7.5 tonne flatbed vehicle to transport vehicles to designated locations.
- Ensure that all recoveries are completed in a timely manner while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
- Load and unload casualty vehicles safely, ensuring proper securing of loads on the flatbed.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required by the company, in accordance with our new system.
- Communicate effectively with our live operations team and customers regarding ETA's (estimated time of arrival) and any potential issues.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
Qualifications
- Valid UK driving licence with appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles.
- Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for driving large vehicles.
- Ability to operate flatbed vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay
Basic Salary: £39,655.20
Commission: 5% on 90% of gross revenue
*Commission earnings are subject to successful invoices. Commission earnings are not payable for jobs that cannot be charged.
Bonus: £100.00 per month
Expected Earnings: £40,000.00 - £45,000.00+
