Registered Manager – Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our care service here at in our 30 bed home, Spring Tree Care Home. The successful applicant will be experienced in managing residential care and have strong leadership skills and will be expected to apply for registration with CQC. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred support while ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and market the home, manage care service contracts, and assess prospective service users.
- Maintain full compliance with CQC standards, health & safety legislation, and internal policies
- Lead, manage, and develop a dedicated care team, including recruitment, induction, training, and performance management
- Create and manage effective staff rotas to meet service needs and ensure appropriate skill mix on every shift
- Oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring continuous improvement and excellent service delivery
- Build strong relationships with families, professionals, local authorities, and external partners
- Handle complaints and compliments professionally, ensuring positive outcomes and learning opportunities
- Provide supervision and guidance, managing teams and leading by example through hands-on support
- Develop and review person-centred support plans
- Ensure safeguarding practices are always upheld and concerns are reported appropriately
Operational & Administrative Duties
- Ensure accurate, up-to-date record keeping in line with regulatory and organisational requirements
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the service
- Maintain high standards across all administrative and operational systems
What We’re Looking For
- A strong, confident leader with 3 years minimum experience in a management role in a residential care setting.
- Level 5 Qualified
- Hold a valid driving UK licence
- A passion for delivering outstanding, person-centred care
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
- Ability to manage teams, performance, and service delivery effectively
- This role requires flexibility, including occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.
Pay: From £32,000 to £42,000.00 per year (subject to experience - by negotiation).
