About the Role
As a Support Worker / Care Assistant, you will:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support.
- Assist with personal care while promoting dignity, respect and independence.
- Support individuals with medication in line with care plans and company policies.
- Encourage independence and support individuals with daily living tasks, appointments and community activities.
- Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns appropriately.
- Build positive relationships with the people you support, their families and healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding care.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in care or support work is desirable, but not essential.
- A caring, compassionate and reliable approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- An Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
- Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is an advantage; however, non-drivers are also encouraged to apply, as suitable opportunities may be available.
