At Active8 Minds West Sussex, we provide high-quality wraparound care, PE lessons, lunchtime clubs and holiday clubs across West Sussex. We're looking for enthusiastic Wraparound Care Assistants to join our growing team and help deliver outstanding childcare before and after the school day.

The Role
As a Wraparound Care Assistant, you'll help create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment where children can learn, play and thrive.
Working alongside our Club Managers, you'll support the delivery of a wide range of activities while ensuring every child has a positive experience.
Hours
- 10-25 hours per week
- Based in Chichester
- Availability required between:
- 7:15am – 9:00am
- 2:45pm – 6:00pm
- Additional paid hours available during school holidays through our Holiday Clubs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day running of breakfast and after-school clubs.
- Help plan and deliver fun, engaging activities for children.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and school staff.
- Promote children's wellbeing, confidence and independence.
- Ensure children are supervised in a safe and caring environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of all children.
- Report any safeguarding concerns appropriately.
- Work as part of a friendly, supportive team.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive and welcoming club environment.

Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process consists of:
- A face-to-face interview.
- A practical interview within one of our clubs.
Successful applicants will then complete our comprehensive onboarding programme, including company-funded induction training and an Enhanced DBS check.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
