Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Care Administrator to oversee the daily operations within the home care and support services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and supervising skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional care plans and maintaining high standards of communication. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring compliance with care regulations, and supporting residents’ wellbeing through effective administrative management. The Senior Care Administrator will play a key role in fostering a positive environment for clients and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day administrative functions within the home care and support services, ensuring smooth operation and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Supervise and support care staff, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop, review, and update personalised care plans for residents, ensuring they meet individual needs and preferences.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to facilitate comprehensive care.
- Manage staff rotas, regular audit checks, training schedules, and performance reviews to optimise team efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of resident information, care documentation, and administrative reports using IT systems.
- Ensure effective communication across all levels of staff and with clients’ families to promote transparency and trust.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in care quality and operational efficiency within the services.
Requirements
- Proven supervisory or leadership experience within a home care and support services.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise confidently with clients, families, staff, and external professionals.
- Competent IT skills for managing electronic records, care plans, and administrative tasks.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for travel between sites or appointments.
- Experience in developing or managing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Knowledge of relevant health & safety regulations and compliance standards within the care sector.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
