Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive singing lessons that cater to students’ unique abilities and aspirations
- Assess students’ vocal strengths and areas for improvement, creating personalized development plans
- Teach proper vocal techniques, breathing exercises, pitch control, diction, and performance skills
- Prepare students for performances, auditions, or competitions by providing coaching and constructive feedback
- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that boosts confidence and nurtures musical growth
- Track student progress regularly, adjusting lesson plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement
- Promote a love for singing and music through engaging activities, demonstrations, and motivational communication
Experience
- Proven experience teaching singing or vocal coaching, with a strong portfolio of student progress and achievements
- Knowledge of various musical genres and vocal styles to adapt lessons accordingly
- Familiarity with vocal health practices and techniques to ensure safe singing habits
- Excellent communication skills to connect with students of all ages and skill levels
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and build confidence in learners through positive reinforcement
- Prior experience preparing students for performances or auditions is preferred but not mandatory
- A passion for music education and a commitment to fostering artistic growth in others
Pay: £27.00 per hour
