Office Administrator for a busy Construction company
Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, photocopying, scanning, and filing.
- Manage and maintain office supplies and inventory.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using Xero software.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate person.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports.
- Assist in organizing company events and meetings.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
- Assist with maintaining fleet
- Assist with HR (New Starters etc)
Experience working for a construction company is highly desired.
Skills:
- Proficient in using Xero for bookkeeping tasks.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using Office 365 (Outlook, Word Docs, Excel Sheets, Slides) & Adobe.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Being able to communicate with staff and clients over the phone and email is essential.
Hours - Monday to Friday. This is a part time role. Flexible with hours within reason. Pay negotiable depending on experience and hours worked.
