Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in various outdoor and construction-related tasks, supporting landscape maintenance, gardening, and general site upkeep. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in horticulture, construction, and maintenance activities within a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
- Assisting with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, and lawn care
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and effectively
- Using excavators and other machinery for digging, lifting, and site preparation
- Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution
- Supporting general construction activities such as site clearing, material movement, and groundwork
- Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal functioning
- Assisting with gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, and soil preparation
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with power tools and machinery is advantageous
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and construction equipment such as excavators is preferred
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and site maintenance practices
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- A proactive attitude with the willingness to learn new skills in construction and landscaping environments
