Fairlight is a a well established privately run nursing home that prides itself on providing person centered care and catering for 62 residents. We have a vacant post for a weekend Cook.
The team are friendly and supportive. This is a fast paced environment, like many kitchen roles, we are seeking a dynamic individual able to to multi task and pick things quickly using their own initiative.
If you have a positive and friendly attitude, cope well under pressure and enjoy making traditional home cooked food then this could be for you!
The salary can be negotiable.
The hours of work per week will be BANK and will include some weekends. You will be supporting our chefs with cooking breakfasts, lunches and dinners. As well as helping with setting up for meals and getting it ready for Care staff to take to residents. Must be able to work to set meal times, be flexible with covering shifts, be able to also work alone and to the kitchens fast pace. Opportunities for extra hours during holiday cover.

Experience of care home environment an advantage but not essential.
Food Hygiene Certificate and Knowledge of COSHH
