Our team is a huge part of what makes Primrose great! We are looking for an experienced grower to join our team growing bedding plants and perennials here at Primrose Hill Nurseries.
You must be a team player, able to work to deadlines and be highly motivated. We are looking for a passionate, friendly and committed person who is willing to learn and support our current team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee growing of all crops including bedding plants and perennials.
- Pick and process plant orders as requested by retail supervisor.
- Ensure best horticultural practice within the production glasshouses and stock fields.
- Carry out weekly crop walks identifying pest and disease issues and treating as required.
- Loading and unloading of deliveries.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven Experience: Experienced and passionate horticulturist. Must hold a minimum of level 2 in horticulture and hold their PA1/PA6 qualification.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with ease.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing requirements, hours of work will vary dependant on season.
- Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with team members effectively and customers.
