Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician or Approved Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Amnis have secured a number of quality commercial and industrial projects for major national Clients and requires enthusiastic and proficient Electricians and Approved Electricians.
Local Northwest works, with options for national works and overtime.

Duties
- Completing Commercial Electrical work to a high standard.
- Autonomous working and project Completion.
- Completing works to project programmes.
- Liaising with Clients and Colleagues.
Applicants Require
- Electrical Qualifications (NVQ L3 and above inc 18th Edition)
- Testing Qualification 2391 or equivalent
- ECS gold card (preferred)
- Commercial Installation and Maintenance experience
- UK Drivers Licence (Clean preferred)
- Experience in Reactive/planned jobs on commercial/ industrial properties
- Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Location: North West Based with National coverage - Must live local to office in Widnes.
Duties
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools, diagnosing faults accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installation and repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Upgrading existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety.
