We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, home care environments. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility to promote independence.
- Experience with working with adults and children
- Support children and adults with complex health care needs
- Provide specialised patient care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments.
- Support with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to encourage social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Monitor health conditions and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Manage behavioural challenges with patience and effective behaviour management strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home care, home care, or related fields is required
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and maintain physical stamina throughout shifts.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals’ well-being.
