We are looking for an experienced Lead Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join our growing team.
B M Air Ltd is continuing to grow, with an expanding order book and a strong pipeline of projects ahead. As part of that growth, we're looking for the right person to take a leading role within our installation team.
This is an important position for us, and while air conditioning installation experience is essential, attitude is every bit as important.
The Person We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and wants to contribute to the continued growth of the business.
You'll need to be an experienced air conditioning installer who is capable of taking responsibility for installations and helping to set the standard for others working alongside you.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has proven air conditioning installation experience (including a good knowledge of a range of systems for fault finding and be comfortable commissioning systems ranging from splits through to larger VRV/VRF systems)
- Takes genuine pride in the quality of their work
- Has a positive, can-do attitude
- Is reliable, organised and professional
- Is comfortable taking responsibility for installations
- Can lead and support other engineers and apprentices
- Communicates well with colleagues, clients and other trades
- Thinks ahead and looks for solutions rather than simply highlighting problems

- Treats customers, colleagues and sites with respect
- Wants to be part of a growing company and contribute to its success
The Role
As a Lead Air Conditioning Installation Engineer, you'll take responsibility for delivering high-quality air conditioning installations across a variety of projects.
You'll be expected to lead by example, ensuring installations are completed safely, professionally and to the standard our customers expect.
The role will include:
- Leading air conditioning installations from start through to completion
- Installing a range of air conditioning systems
- Reporting into our project managers
- Supporting and developing junior engineers and apprentices
- Ensuring installations meet our quality standards
- Identifying and resolving issues on site
- Ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Representing B M Air professionally on every project
Working in London
A significant proportion of our projects are based in London, so applicants must be comfortable travelling into and working in London on a regular basis.
Experience working on London construction and commercial sites would be beneficial.
