Bannon Tipper Hire & Recycling is a family-run business based at our recycling yard in Widnes, Cheshire.
We provide tipper haulage, recycled aggregates and waste management services to customers across the construction and utilities industries. We have been operating for more than 30 years and pride ourselves on providing a reliable and professional service.
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our team in Widnes.
The role will involve operating a tipper wagon, transporting materials to and from construction sites, recycling facilities and tipping locations throughout the local area.
The normal working hours are 6:45am to 4:45pm.
Full-time and part-time positions are available.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A valid Class 2 HGV licence
- A current Driver CPC
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience driving a tipper wagon
- A good understanding of drivers’ hours and vehicle safety requirements
- A reliable and professional approach to work
The successful applicant will be expected to carry out daily vehicle checks, complete relevant paperwork and maintain the vehicle to a good standard.
