Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Site Manager (Civils/Groundworks) to join our team in the UK. Based at our project sites, you will play a crucial role in overseeing civil engineering and groundworks operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to major infrastructure developments that support community growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all site activities related to civil engineering and groundworks projects.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Oversee health and safety compliance on site.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure quality standards are upheld throughout the construction process.
- Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in civil engineering or groundworks.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities on large-scale projects.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to civil works.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse teams.
- Ability to solve problems proactively and adapt to changing project needs.
- Relevant certifications such as CSCS or SMSTS
