Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, following all food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked
- Manage cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems while providing excellent customer service
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons
- Collaborate with team members to handle busy periods efficiently and support overall bar operations
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper handling of food and beverages
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Ability to serve drinks confidently while maintaining excellent customer service skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation
