Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our team in a dynamic construction or maintenance environment. Responsibilities
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for carpentry, masonry, roofing, and other construction activities.
- Execute mechanical tasks requiring specialised knowledge to maintain or install equipment.
- Construct, repair, or renovate structures using masonry techniques such as bricklaying or stonework.
- Operate commercial vehicles for transporting materials and equipment between sites as required.
- Assist with roofing projects, including installation, repairs, and maintenance.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with colleagues on various projects to ensure timely completion whilst maintaining high standards of quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding, carpentry, masonry, roofing, or related trades.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to construction and maintenance tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge applicable to machinery repair or installation tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Experience with commercial driving licences is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations within construction environments.
- Physical fitness suitable for demanding manual labour tasks across multiple sites.
