Job Summary
I am a 27-year-old female seeking two reliable and caring Personal Care Assistants to support me in my day-to-day life. This includes personal care, household tasks, and accompanying me to social and recreational activities. The role is rewarding and varied, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in my life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care support
- Attend medical appointments with me
- Assist with household tasks such as cleaning
- Support with shopping
- Accompany me to recreational activities (e.g., horse riding)
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting individuals with additional needs, including physical disabilities and mental health challenges
- Knowledge or experience of supporting someone with Autism (desirable)
- Empathetic, caring, friendly, efficient, patient, reliable, and a good communicator
- Valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to show empathy and patience
Additional Information
- Due to the nature of personal care, only female applicants will be considered, in line with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
- Hours will be split between two PAs (details discussed at interview).
