Overview
We are seeking a motivated CNC Milling Machine Operator – Production to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate and maintain CNC milling machines to produce precision components efficiently and accurately. Your expertise will contribute directly to our reputation for excellence in manufacturing. No programming experience required, Pay reviewed as experience and competence in the role develops
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading CNC milling machines
- Running established CNC programs and repeat production batches
- Checking components during production
- Making basic tool offsets where required
- Changing inserts and tools when required
- Deburring and cleaning finished components
- Recording inspection and production information
- Maintaining consistent quality throughout production runs
- Keeping the machine and work area clean and organised
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout the production process.
Experience
- Previous CNC machining or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Able to read basic engineering drawings
- Comfortable using measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometers
- Reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable carrying out repetitive production work
- Consistent and methodical approach to work
