Full job description

The Role:

To undertake Rural valuations, management and general Rural consultancy in the Suffolk and the surrounding area.

Requirements:

Responsible for the delivery of the valuations work steam in Suffolk and the surrounding area.

Undertake valuations for a range of purposes including loan security, tax, inheritance and estate planning (rural, residential and development/planning appraisal)

Work with colleagues and the Head of Rural Team to develop all work streams.

Produce high quality, detailed and professional reports to our clients in line with agreed timescales.

Undertake general Rural consultancy and management work as required.

Provide professional and reasoned advice to our clients at all times.

Competent and experienced RICS qualified rural surveyor with experience of delivering work across a range of projects

Capable of building relationships with existing and new clients and generating new opportunities

Possess a composed manner to be able to work under pressure

Good time management and ability to prioritise workloads

Ability to meet deadlines

Accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills - must be capable of building and maintaining good relationships with team members, other colleagues and clients

Confident manner with clients and the team

An understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion

Ability to network, influence and negotiate effectively.

Qualifications:

MRICS

RICS Registered Valuer

FAAV qualified an advantage

Experience

Experience in agricultural and rural residential valuations

Proficient in the use of Word, Excel and mapping software

Experience in working in a regional setting potentially covering more than one office location.
