Duties
- Performing carpentry 1st and 2nd fix and roofing with precision and safety in mind
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment efficiently to complete projects on time
- Conduct routine inspections of structures and facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury or damage
- Follow detailed work plans and safety protocols during all tasks
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate project timelines and ensure quality standards are met
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing or related trades is highly preferred
- MUST HAVE CSCS CARD
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment is essential
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems
- Prior experience in commercial driving or operating construction machinery is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely over extended periods
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for construction sites
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
