Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable General Handyperson on a temporary basis from 29th June 2026 until mid-September 2026. The role involves supporting our permanent maintenance team with general maintenance tasks across our portfolio of properties. This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who has excellent painting and decorating skills as well as good general practical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Painting and decorating in empty properties
- Moving furniture, materials, and equipment when required
- Carrying out basic repairs and general handyperson tasks when required
- Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised
- Following company health and safety procedures at all times
Skills and Experience
- Previous painting and decorating experience
- Basic handyperson or property maintenance skills advantageous
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
- Good reliability, punctuality, and work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
- Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely
40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm
Pay: £12.71 per hour
