Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Joiner Site Fitter to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various structural and architectural elements on-site. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in Site Joinery to contribute to diverse projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the process. A successful candidate will be required to work on sites across West Yorkshire as well as Nationwide
Duties
- Install and assemble components according to project specifications and schematics
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct masonry, carpentry, and construction painting tasks as required
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise fitting of components
- Perform fabrication tasks including cutting, shaping, and fitting materials on-site
- Assist in the installation of masonry features and construction elements
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines
- Maintain organised work areas and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use
Requirements
- Proven experience in Joinery
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, equipment, and fabrication machinery
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction-related disciplines
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
