Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff for every other Weekends. This role involves providing exceptional service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Previous experience in a bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks to customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws
- Handle cash and electronic payments responsibly, providing correct change where applicable
- Restock bar supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Engage with customers to create a friendly and welcoming environment
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe workspace
- Responsible for opening and closing the bar, including locking up securely at the end of the shift. (Will be supervised)
Experience
- Previous experience in bar work
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Skills in serving drinks efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service are preferred
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Strong organisational skills and time management abilities to manage busy periods effectively
- A personable attitude with excellent communication skills suitable for engaging with diverse customers
