As a night carer, your primary responsibilities will be to provide wake-in call support to clients during the night. You will be responsible for ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and comfort, responding to any needs or emergences that may arise during your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing wake-in support during the night, including assistance with toileting, medication, and personal care as needed
- Responding promptly and effectively to any calls or emergencies
- Monitoring clients' wellbeing and ensuring their comfort
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided
- Upholding the highest standards of dignity, respect, and confidentiality
Requirements
- Previous experience in care
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently during the night
- Good communication skills
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or wiling to undergo check)
