During our peak season, your main focus will be working as part of the kitchen team, preparing, cooking, and presenting food with consistency, speed, and care.
Outside of peak season, this varied, year-round role offers the opportunity to get involved across the wider business. From painting, gardening and general maintenance to site preparation and other practical tasks, you’ll play an important part in keeping everything looking its best and running smoothly.
We’re looking for someone with a positive, hands-on attitude who enjoys being part of a supportive team and is always willing to get stuck in wherever needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes to agreed standards
Working confidently during busy service periods while maintaining consistency and attention to detail
Following recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards
Keeping the kitchen clean, safe, organised, and ready for service
Completing daily, weekly, and monthly checks to maintain food safety and hygiene standards
Managing stock rotation, reducing waste, and supporting ordering where required
Using kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, and reporting any issues promptly
Working closely with front-of-house to deliver smooth, efficient service
Supporting menu ideas and improvements to enhance the customer experience
Helping with wider site duties outside of peak season, including painting, gardening, maintenance, cleaning, and general upkeep
Working flexibly as part of the wider team to support the needs of the business throughout the year
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
Level 2 Food Hygiene is required; Level 3 would be a bonus
Allergen awareness or HACCP training would be an advantage
Experience
Previous experience working as a Chef, Cook, or in a busy kitchen environment
Confident preparing, cooking, and presenting food under pressure
Strong understanding of Health & Safety, Food Safety, and COSHH
Experience working in a high-volume or fast-paced kitchen
Barista knowledge would be desirable
Experience using EPOS systems would be an advantage
