Overall Purpose of the Role
To facilitate high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to learners across a range of vocational programmes. This role involves supporting learners to achieve their qualifications successfully and on time. The role includes learner recruitment, progress monitoring, employer engagement and ensuring compliance with awarding body standards, Skills England, Ofsted and Department for Education, Department for Working Pensions and contributing to continuous improvement in programme delivery. The postholder will also be expected to engage in continuous professional development to maintain sector competence and support quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning:
· Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in line with apprenticeship standards and schemes of work.
· Deliver training and support in line with Ofsted requirements, ensuring all learners understand and apply principles of Safeguarding, Prevent, and British Values
· Maintain full compliance with awarding body standards and funding regulations.
· Complete all learner and employer documentation in accordance with funding rules and compliance.
· Use a variety of teaching methods to suit individual learner’s needs.
· Support learners in developing knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for their apprenticeship and learning styles and embed Functional Skills where required.
· Ensure all learners progress and complete their End Point Assessment (EPA) successfully and within the required timeframe.
· Ensure timely completion of qualifications and EPA through structured support and guidance.
Assessment & Progress Monitoring:
· Conduct initial assessments and create individual learning plans.
· Assess learners’ work against apprenticeship standards and awarding body criteria.
· Provide constructive feedback and set SMART targets to support learner progression.
· Track and report learner progress using internal systems and e-portfolios.
· Provide accurate and effective Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) throughout the learner journey.
· Conduct monthly progress reviews and formal 12-week reviews, updating learner files and tracking systems.
· Set and monitor training targets that align on-the-job and off-the-job learning activities.
· Act as a liaison between learners, employers, and parents (where applicable), resolving issues and maintaining communication.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
· Ensure all delivery and assessment practices meet Ofsted, Department for Education, Skills England, Department for Work & Pensions, End Point Assessment Organisations and the Awarding Organisation requirements.
· Carry out workplace assessments in line with awarding body standards.
· Promote and embed safeguarding, Prevent, and British Values in all aspects of delivery.
· Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress, and achievement, sharing updates with employers.
· Work collaboratively with Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs) and participate in standardisation meetings.
· Contribute to course reviews, evaluation processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Employer Engagement & Health & Safety:
· Attend relevant employer and sector forums to raise the profile of Dynamo’s provision.
· Conduct Health and Safety audits in the workplace and monitor ongoing compliance for all learners.
· Keep employers regularly informed of learner progress, achievements, and attendance.
Professional Development & Training:
· Participate in regular CPD activities to maintain occupational competence and stay up to date with sector developments.
· Attend internal and external training sessions, workshops, and standardisation meetings as required.
· Engage in reflective practice and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.
· Maintain knowledge of current apprenticeship standards, EPA requirements, and regulatory changes.
Person Specification
Essential:
· Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert.Ed., Diploma in Education and Training) and/or Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, D32/33).
· Experience delivering and assessing apprenticeship programmes.
· Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards, EPA, and funding rules.
· Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
· Sector-specific qualifications relevant to the apprenticeship area.
Desirable:
· Internal Quality Assurance qualification (e.g., IQA).
· Experience with e-portfolio systems (e.g., OneFile, Aptem).
Knowledge:
· In-depth understanding of current apprenticeship standards, End Point Assessment (EPA) processes, and qualification frameworks.
· Knowledge of effective pedagogical approaches for adult learners, including blended and workplace-based learning.
· Understanding of assessment methods, evidence requirements, and awarding body criteria.
· Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and the Prevent duty, with the ability to embed these into delivery.
· Awareness of Department for Education funding rules, compliance, and documentation standards.
· Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations relevant to apprenticeships.
Skills:
· Ability to deliver engaging, inclusive, and differentiated training sessions both in-person and remotely.
· Skilled in conducting fair and consistent assessments, providing constructive feedback, and supporting learners to meet targets.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with learners, employers, and colleagues.
· Ability to manage caseloads, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records of learner progress and achievement.
· Proficient in using e-portfolio systems (e.g., OneFile, Smart Assessor), Microsoft Office, and virtual learning platforms.
· Capable of resolving learner/employer issues and acting as an advocate for learner success.
Experience:
· Proven experience in delivering vocational training or apprenticeships in a workplace or educational setting.
· Experience conducting workplace assessments and supporting learners to build portfolios of evidence.
· Experience engaging with employers to support learner development and ensure programme relevance.
· Involvement in internal quality assurance processes, standardisation meetings, and continuous improvement activities.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
