The Opportunity
The York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking to appoint a Contracts and Relationship Officer to work within our Skills, Education and Employment Team, with a particular focus on supporting our Skills Bootcamp programme.
From April 2026, Skills Bootcamp funding for York and North Yorkshire was devolved to the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority. Skills Bootcamps are designed to give individuals the opportunity to build new skills, strengthen existing abilities, and improve their long-term employability.
The Contracts and Relationships Officer’s will be required to build and maintain strong working relationships with Skills Bootcamp providers, and assist with the operational development, implementation and utilisation of the systems and processes required to analyse, interpret, and report on provider performance.
What you will bring
- Good understanding and knowledge of performance management, contract requirements, contract documentation, systems and processes
- Experience of managing systems to track and report on performance in a complex operational environment
- Experience of analysing, interpreting and challenging financial and operational data and information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
