The role
As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting pupils to achieve their potential.
Depending on the role, your responsibilities may include:
- Planning and delivering lessons in line with the school's curriculum
- Providing engaging and differentiated learning experiences
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff and school leadership
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
