As a F&B Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have the best customer service, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a friendly smile in our bars and restaurant.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests, including upselling menu items.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Learn to work in different areas and outlets.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and procedures.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Exceptional guest service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
