We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative for night shifts to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, corridors, and communal spaces during night hours
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively to achieve high standards of cleanliness
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll to ensure facilities are fully equipped
- Follow health and safety guidelines rigorously to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly
- Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and completed tasks for accountability
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and polishers safely
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Strong communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with team members
- Physically capable of performing repetitive cleaning tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
