Job Overview
We are looking for an Vehicle Technician to join our growing independent garage in Letchworth. This candidate would ideally hold an MOT licence but it isn't essential.
This role suits someone who values teamwork, honesty, and quality workmanship, and wants to work in a business that genuinely respects its staff.
If you’re not about teamwork, this role won’t be for you.
No corporate mentality. No main-dealer politics. No job-card stealing.
Just a professional, supportive workshop with a genuine all-for-the-team work ethic.

We have clear ambitions to become the largest and best independent garage in Letchworth, and we’re actively investing in the business — including a brand-new Class 7 ATL MOT station recently installed. We have 5 bays currently and have capacity to add further when the time is right.

Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle health checks and inspections
- Servicing and general mechanical repairs
- Supporting the wider workshop team as required
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism

Essential Requirements
- Level 2 or 3 Vehicle Qualification (required)
- Minimum 3 years of workshop experience
- Full UK driving licence (manual & automatic)
- Own tools and toolbox
(Workshop equipment and specialist tooling provided)
- Reliable, organised, and a strong team player

Working Hours
- Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm (30-minute lunch included)
(Some flexibility available)
- Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm (rota system)
